We are thrilled to welcome Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton – a multi-instrumentalist blues musician and vocalist from Los Angeles – for a night of music, humor, and storytelling.
Although only in his 20s, Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton has earned a reputation for transporting audiences back to the 1920’s and making them wish they could stay there for good whether he’s performing the blues, ragtime, hokum, old-time, French reels, jazz, or Appalachian mountain music. Paxton’s style draws from blues and jazz music before World War II and was influenced by Fats Waller and “Blind” Lemon Jefferson
Nominated as “Artist of the Year” for the 2016 International Folk Music Awards, Paxton is arguably one of the most dynamic and talented musicians in any genre. Equally talented on guitar, gut string banjo, fiddle, Cajun accordion, harmonica, bones, and piano, Jerron sings and performs traditional American music with a joy and passion that is unforgettable. In addition, he mesmerizes audiences with his humor and storytelling.
He’s a world class talent and a uniquely colorful character who has been on the cover of Living Blues Magazine and the Village Voice and has been interviewed on FOX News.
