We are excited to collaborate with local artists and offer FREE Art Workshops for middle & high school students! This is a great opportunity to learn from a working artist plus ask questions about embarking on a career in the arts.
About the Workshop:
Fiber artist Norma Fredrickson introduces students to composition using shape before line. The workshop includes:
Inspired by Molly Bang’s “Picture This: How Pictures Work,” the purpose of the class is to increase participants’ confidence to create what they intend through a more informed use of shape and placement.
Saturday, May 20 from Noon to 3:00 PM
Each workshop will be limited to 15 students. Materials and supplies included.
